SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and LiCAP Technologies, Inc. have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the industrialization of dry cathode electrode technology for all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs), a critical innovation in next-generation electric vehicle performance.
The collaboration builds on prior research and will focus on scaling LiCAP’s proprietary Activated Dry Electrode® platform—a solvent-free process that enhances manufacturing efficiency, reduces environmental impact, and improves overall battery performance.
